Pre-School Committee

St Marks Pre-school committee members are the charity trustees of the organisation with overall responsibility for the:
Management of the setting, ensuring the pre-school runs safely, efficiently, and legally
Recruitment of staff, professional development, payment of salaries, and management of employment contracts.
Management of finances, including management of accounts, budget setting, maintaining financial records, and fundraising.
The committee is made up of volunteers who are either parents with children at St Marks Pre-school or local community members with links to the pre-school. The committee meets 6 times a year (including an annual AGM). There are lots of ways you can contribute to the committee, giving as much or as little time as you can spare. You do not need any experience to make a difference.
