St Marks Pre-school recognises the key role parents/carers have in their child’s learning and development. The pre-school endeavours to support this by:
- Implementing a flexible transition plan that is designed to facilitate a positive start to pre-school.
- Opportunities for both informal and formal links to discuss progress with practitioners (Parent Chats)
- The provision of an interactive on-line Learning Journal (Tapestry)
- Sharing resources such as activity cards, book bags and ‘Busy Bags’ for parents to use at home.
