What is Tapestry?
Tapestry is a secure, interactive way of keeping track of your child’s development and their time at St Marks Pre-school. Photos, videos and observations of your child will be uploaded onto an online Learning Journal by your child’s key person on a regular basis. An email alert will prompt you to log on, view what your child has been up to and add your own comments, photos, observations and videos.
How secure is Tapestry?
Everything is added to Tapestry via our secure pre-school account and can only be viewed by the pre-school practitioners, and yourself. You will have access to your child’s own Learning Journal which cannot be seen by other parents. It is crucial that you do not share photos or videos from your child’s Learning Journal on social media or through other online platforms. Any incidents where this confidentiality is broken will be dealt with seriously and will result in access to the system being withdrawn.
